Building Capacity in Emerging Economies
BRI has been training management consultants in emerging economies including Brazil, Costa Rica, China, India, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago since 1985.
The BRI approach includes classroom training followed by the implementation of the concepts and learning in organizations implementing:
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development
- Risk Management Systems for Water and Wastewater Utilities
- Integrated Risk Management Systems
- Stakeholder Engagement for CSR and Sustainable Development
Each individual capacity building project includes consideration of the specific characteristics and needs of local industries for trade and development (forestry, mining, manufacturing, etc.) while responding to the training needs of consultants to ensure that the international standards are adhered to and can be confirmed.
